Ugly Imus, ugly black women and nappy headed hos

Poor poor poor Don Imus. Woe is Don Imus. Everyone was out to get him, especially “you people” as he told black radio host and activist Al Sharpton. Every single profession without exception has rules and norms that you must abide by. The commissioner made that very point this week in the NFL.

The NFL already is beginning to realize and maybe Don Imus now should too, that this is a business. Sure, you may can make money doing some things that you like to do, but at the end of the day, this is a business and you cannot do anything ever that affects that bottom line or proves embarrassing to the business and Don Imus did just that. Good riddance Don Imus.
APPEARANCE ON 60 MINUTES
After watching 60 minutes this evening. I decided to add more to my post.
This man is totally classless. Can’t believe he blows his nasty snotty ass nose right there live on tv and the radio. It shows he just has no taste. He called the first lady a tramp, used the term ‘nigger jokes’ to a 60 minute producer and has alledgedly made antisemitic and racist rants in the past. None of this surprises me. The man is obviously a white know it all asshole who appeals to a certain segment of the white population of America that secretly likes to hear antiblack, antiminority, antifemale jokes. And that’s fine. But, you can not do it on public airwaves and those type of comments cant be supported by advertisers. Being funny is not always good business.
NAPPY HEADED HOS
The term nappy headed hos I admit did not make me wince or flinch or draw immediate repugnancy. It was inappropiate I felt, but I did not find it inherently racist, even though it was insulting. After talking to a black female friend she explained that black women take a lot of pride and effort in making sure their hair looks nice and is always “done” for lack of a better word. And any insult dealing with their hair regardless of who makes it, is very insulting for them. They never want to have the “worst hair” and in the black community the “worse hair” is normally hair that is unkept or natural or the nickname for natural, NAPPY! Why can’t white men use the term nappy? I don’t know. I dont think its fair though. It’s nothing but a descriptive term dealing with hair. I think it’s allowed. I have seen black parents daily tell their kids male and female don’t go out of the house with your hair nappy. It’s just a description. Now Ho’s, a ho or hore (whore) that term is universally known to be a very loose woman or a overly sexual woman who sleeps with whomever. That term was inappropriate and uncalled for. That term was uncalled for not only because it’s not true, but because black women are the future of America. They are leaving high school for college in the highest rates of any ethnic subgroup including white men. Their income is rising faster than any other minority group as well. They are the future. Take a look at the last 10 years. See Oprah, Condeleeza, etc etc Go to your graduate schools and tell me who you see attending college in larger and larger numbers. Now with that said. The Rutgers girls basketball team is ugly. And I do mean ugly. Don Imus can’t say it, but I can say it. They are gruesome! I wouldn’t let any of them even touch my genitals if they begged to. They aren’t necessarily masculine looking as much as they are just not attractive period. Please click on the name of any of them and you can see what I’m talking about.

Sharpton and Jackson are as guilty of creating Cho as any other liberal in the news media or the government. The liberal mentality of “I’m a victim so I can do whatever I want to draw attention to my ’cause’” is what caused this. Black people are allowed to riot because they’re a “poor” and “oppressed” “minority.” Well, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, and Cho (the gander) decided that since he was a “poor” “oppressed” “minority” he could also do whatever the ___ he wanted to get his “message” across, so he killed 32 people. NBC, ABC, CNN, Sharpton and Jackson, Hillary Clinton and all the rest of them practically told him (nay, ordered him) to do it.

so there is a big uproar over a white man saying nappy-headed hos. sad thing is, EVERY DAY i turn on tv, movies, or music, I hear black or mexican comedians or rappers talking trash about white people and there is no outrage over it. why? I just saw the movie “balls of fury”. there must have been at least 20 times in that movie that the main character was called whitey, or was told he could not train with the orientals because he was “round eye”. i turn on comedy channel and see “mindless mencia” who constantly puts down white people while glamorizing hispanic crime. rap music is all about black people rising up and killing or oppressing white people for their involvement in slavery 150 years ago. SHOULD THAT BE ALLOWED TOO? if you have a standard for one THEN MAKE IT STANDARD FOR ALL.

Please tell me Mr. Intellectual, what is so ugly about these women? Is it the full lips? Dark skin? I see you’ve chosen photos of two of the Rutgers women; are these the ones you deem the most unattractive? Of course these women are ‘ugly’ according to the Western standard of beauty, but it is so sad to see that black men have subscribed to this standard also. As for the Imus comment, I don’t find the word nappy itself offensive. I love the natural curl of my hair. If more black women embraced their natural selves, then maybe we could change this blue-eyed, blond-haired and light skinned ideal; but I digress. That he referred to these women as whores is what hurts, mostly because of the historical stereotype of black women as lascivious Jezebels. Here it is 2007 and these educated women are still reduced to hos. These are beautiful, intelligent and articulate women. Did you hear Essence Carson (middle photo) speak at the press conference? She represented herself and her team very well. I don’t know if its just your personal preference or what, but ugly is far from what they are.

I must say that i absolutely agree with the above comment by Joy M. What is it that makes these women ugly, really, what is it? We have been so brain washed by these capitalistic marketers, whom i might add are overwhelmingly white men who hypnotise us with what beauty is. I absolutely do not find those Rutgers women unattractive as you so blantly but it (mr. Inttelectual black man) It is a shame that you as an “intellectual black man” has also fall victim to the capitalist’s marketing gimmicks and opinions of what beauty is.

They are unattractive in my opinion, but the focus should not be on their looks or skin color. They are talented young women and there was no need to go there. These girls are bright, ambitious, skilled at what they do…but people will always view women as sex objects no matter what we look like. They’re out there shooting hoops! They’ll be sweaty and their hair will be ruined and it won’t be pretty. What do you expect? When men play sports, no one cares what they look like. They’re basketball players…not models. Calling them “hoes” was out of line because Imus doesn’t know anything about these girls. A ho is somebody who will f**k anything that moves. He dismissed their talent, hard work, and positive traits with his whole commentary.

Well correction. Black people have contributed a lot to our society. The white man set us back so far that Martin Luther King’s work is still in progress. As far as racism goes; racist people are only keeping themselves from the precious gifts of God. I agree with Joy M., because I love the hell out of my afro. My white friends always tell me how cool they think it is anyway.

To add I take that radio personality man’s (what’s his face) as a compliment, because I love my NAPPY ASS HAIR. Thank you very much. On another tip I have many friends black and white who have never had a record in their lives, go to college, have no kids, and are doing very productive things in thier lives. As soon as I grew up, and realized that a relaxer was not for me, it was the best epipheney of my entire life. I can now wear my Afro and look cool like my parents did in the 70s.

I have to agree with Joy M. Black women are beautiful to pick pictures out 2 photos and say black people are ugly I mean come on we are so brainwashed that we believe that there is only one type of beauty western beauty. I love my afro hair. By the way Black people have contributed so much in the world stuff you do not even know from inventions, music and the way me and you live today, the list goes on.

Those particular black women are ugly! They’re ugly according to any standard of beauty. There actually is a universal standard of attractiveness that does not take into acount skin color or tone or hair texture.
Clear skin, lare eyes, small chin, straight white teeth, and a small hip to waist ratio are the universal markers of beauty for women the world over. These universal traits are found in every race. Women who exhibit them are attractive.
But in America, the cultural standard says you MUST be stick thin, light skinned, with straight hair, and caucasoid or near caucasoid features to be considered pretty. Hence Halle Berry is considered the epitome of beauty in the black community, even though she is actually an African American of biracial genetic makeup.
When you’re measuring the average black woman against Halle, she is going to come up short. But I’ve noticed that white women have a lower beauty threshold, because white women can measure themselves against a Sarah Jessica Parker, who is a plain jane at best and be OK as long as they diet themselves stick thin and die their hair blonde.

Those particular black women may not be attractive but then again they aren’t wearing make up. And most celebrities without make up wouldn’t look as attractive without it. How do black people look like apes. Apes are covered in hair have a cleft on their forehead and thin lips. Apes look like apes. Black people come in a variety of looks and btw there is no such thing as an African american unless you’re from africa. Assholes.
